Air Thanlwin has issued an apology to passengers regarding the incident that occurred on July 2 during the flight ST-739 from Yangon to Tachileik, which resulted in the loss of the honey comb on the right wing.

The aircraft landed safely at Tachileik Airport and the inspection found that the area where the honey comb was installed was not connected to the pressurization area of ​​the aircraft interior, so there was no risk to the aircraft, crew or passengers.

The airline has carried out necessary inspections and preparations in accordance with the guidelines of the Airworthiness Division under the Department of Civil Aviation, and the aircraft manufacturer to ensure safe flight services.

Air Thanlwin would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers and the delay caused by the rerouting of the flight from Yangon to Tachilek, the airline said in a statement.
