The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who departed for Ulan-Ude, Russian Federation via Belarus, was seen off with a guard of honor by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus on the morning of June 28.
The high-level delegation led by the SAC Chairman, who arrived in Minsk, Belarus to attend the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EFF-2025), departed from Minsk International Airport by a special plane on the morning of June 28. They were seen off with a guard of honor by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, Mr. Yuri Shuleiko, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lukashevich Sergey Vladimirovich, and the Consul General of Myanmar to the Republic of Belarus, U Moe Kyaw.
The SAC Chairman is visiting Buryatia via the Republic of Belarus at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Alexey Sambuevich Tsydenov, Head of the Buryatia Region of the Russian Federation. During the visit, he will visit important places, factories, and workshops.
During the visits, the SAC Chairman will be accompanied by the Council’s Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council member General Nyo Saw, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, Deputy Ministers and senior officials from the military and the government.
During his visit to Belarus, the SAC Chairman attended the Fourth Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025), held a separate meeting with the President of Belarus, the rotating chairman of the EAEU, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and visited factories and workshops.
In addition, during the visit, the issues of friendship, economy, security, and strategic cooperation in all sectors were further strengthened, as well as issues of economic development with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries.
