The Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) and Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended a dinner hosted by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The event was also attended by other heads of state, according to sources.

The Myanmar delegation led by the SAC Chairman arrived in Russia on May 7 to attend the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, which will be held in Russia on May 9.

The SAC Chairman met with the President of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is in Moscow, Russia, on the evening of May 8, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Similarly, the SAC Chairman granted separate interviews held at the Ararat Park Hotel lobby in Moscow, speaking with representatives from the Russian RT TV Channel and the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
