Man found alive 125 hours after Golden Country Hotel collapse in Mandalay

A man who had been trapped in the rubble of the Golden Country Hotel in Mandalay after a devastating earthquake was miraculously found alive on the evening of April 2, 125 hours following the disaster. The man was discovered at 5:49 PM in the Chanaye Tharzan Township of Mandalay Region, according to the Myanmar Fire Department.

The ongoing rescue operation involved collaboration between the Myanmar Fire Department, the Blue Sky team, the SRVA team, and a rescue team from Beijing, China. This coordinated effort led to the remarkable rescue.

In addition to the man found in Mandalay, other survivors were also located in different regions affected by the earthquake. Two men were rescued in Nay Pyi Taw, and one man was found alive in Sagaing. The rescue operations continue as search efforts persist.
