Chairman of the State Administration Council  (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a state visit to the Russian Federation, attended and officially inaugurated the opening ceremony of the Myanmar Consulate General Office in Saint Petersburg.

The opening ceremony took place on the evening of March 5 at the K-2 Government Guest House in Saint Petersburg. The event was attended by Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing, together with Mr. Alexander Dmitrievich Beglov, Gevenor of Saint Petersburg, who jointly officiated the opening.

Upon arrival at Pulkovo airport in Saint Petersburg, the SAC chairman and the delegation were welcomed by Mr. Grigoriev Evgeny Dmitrievich, Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Government Committee for external relations, Myanmar Consular General U Aung Phay Thet and other officials.
