According to the Myanmar Fire Services Department, an early morning collision on July 16 involving a Nissan Condo vehicle and two parked light trucks on the Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon Expressway resulted in the death of one man and injuries to eight others.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. on July 16 between mileposts 78/1 and 78/2 of the Nay Pyi Taw-Yangon Expressway. The Nissan Condo lost control and crashed into the two stationary light trucks. In response, the Ushitkon Expressway Fire Station dispatched a fire engine and rescue personnel to assist.
The collision caused the death of a man who was on one of the parked light trucks. Additionally, four men and two women sustained injuries. Among the injured, three men and two women were reported to be in serious condition. Two men in the Nissan Condo sustained non-serious injuries.
The injured were transported to Myochoung Station Hospital by a 192 ambulance and a Myochoung Social Welfare ambulance, as reported by the Myanmar Fire Services Department.
