State-owned Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) is planning to fly a relief flight to Cairo, Egypt and cargo flight to Singapore on September 8, sources said.
Pregnant women, who want to board the flight, need documents to travel to Cairo.
The MNA is flying cargo flights to prevent the shortage of consumer products and now it is planned to fly to Singapore on September 8.
The airline suspended its flights to Singapore, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Hong Kong till September 30 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus.
It planned to resume its services on October 1 and if there are any changes, they will announce it.
Up to 16 relief flights were operated to evacuate Myanmar citizens stranded in Singapore by the instruction of National-Level Central Committee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
