Four points including reducing electricity charges were mentioned in State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi’s Facebook page update on April 5.

Top facts the public wanted to know were mentioned; the first point is the livelihood of basic people during holiday, the second is concerning protective face masks, the third is reducing electricity charges and the final point is reducing internet charges.

Concerning no-1, she said that the best project is being planned with COVID-19 Central Committee Funding and in doing so, it has to cover entire nation not just a place or a region. Therefore, people are requested to donate as much as they can to the Central Committee Funding because there are many things to be done, she said.

Concerning no-2, the Ministry of Health and Sports has planned to distribute 6.3 million masks to the public during this month and more orders have been made. Concerning no-3 points, negotiation is carried out to reduce electricity charges and for the no-4 point, telephone operators have already reduced internet charges, she wrote.

She also wrote that in the time of staying distant to one another; don’t forget to share love and kindness with others. As she is new to Facebook, it took a considerable time to type each and every word. But, she wrote that she was happy as she can communicate through Facebook and hope she can type well in the future.
