Two slight quakes hit Nay Pyi Taw and Mingin

Two slight quakes hit Nay Pyi Taw and Mingin on October 10, according to Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH).

A slight earthquake of magnitude 3.3 Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about 14 miles southwest of Pobba Thiri), latitude 19.80°N, longitude 96.00°E, depth 10 kilometers, about 9 miles west-northwest of Nay Pyi Taw seismological observatory was hit on October 10, according to the DMH.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 4.1 Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about 9 miles south-southwest of Mingin), latitude 22.75°N, longitude 94.47°E, depth 84 kilometers, about 73 miles southwest of Kanbalu seismological observatory was hit on October 10, according to the DMH.

A slight earthquake of magnitude 4.0 Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about 22 miles northwest of Hkamti), latitude 26.22°N, longitude 95.43°E, depth 80 kilometers, about 135 miles northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory was hit on October 6.

A total of four quakes hit Myanmar during October and they are just slight earthquakes, according to the DMH. Among them, one is a moderate quake which hit Myanmar-India border on October 3.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.2 Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Myanmar-India Border Region), latitude 24.94°N, longitude 94.11°E, depth 30 kilometers, about 51 miles north-northwest of Tamu seismological observatory was hit on October 3, according to the DMH.
