An ex-service man from Buthidaung Township and a police sergeant from Kyauktaw Township have been killed by yet unknown assailants, said Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun, secretary of Tatmadaw True News Information Team.
Three unidentified youths knifed and killed the ex-service man in Buthidaung Township on September 22. The ex-service man had nine knife wounds, he said.
Similarly, three unidentified youths killed the police sergeant at Kyauktaw Township police station at the same day, he said.
He continued he thinks the public will know who the culprit is.
A total of 26 people including 22 civilians and policemen are killed since December 2018.
