Three people were arrested by police in Mandalay this morning for staging a protest against the military coup.

The protest occurred in front of the University of Medicine at 30th Street between 73rd and 74th Streets in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay Region.

The protestors chanted slogans “Down with the government that rules after a military coup”, “Immediate release of the State leaders” and “Down with the military dictatorship.”
