NEW DELHI [The Nation] -World No 8 Ratchanok Intanon staged a revenge over He Bingjiao of China after toppling the Chinese 21-15 21-14 in the Yonex Sunrise India Open in New Delhi on Sunday.

The fourth seeded Thai who had never beaten the world No 7 in their four previous meets finally returned the favour in just 45 minutes for her third India Open crown after 2013 and 2016. She is the first player to make a hat-trick title in this tournament.

This also marked the Thai second final of the year after she claimed her first in the January’s Malaysia Masters.

Ratchanok will next play two events in Malaysia and Singapore.
