A group of armed men kidnapped SP Bakery owner Kyaw Win in Mogok of Mandalay Region on the morning of December 4 (today), according to local sources.

While coming to Aung Chan Thar Market in Mogok together with his friends, Kyaw Win was forcibly taken by an unknown armed group in their car.

“They were a group of four. U Kyaw Win was forcibly taken into the car by three men. They were wearing masks. He was taken at a gun point into a gray Surf. The three men coming together with U Kyaw Win fled in fear. He tried to escape. But he was taken into the car at a gun point and kidnapped. There were witnesses but they didn’t dare to say. Kyaw Win was wearing a black shirt,” a witness said on condition of anonymity.

When contacted, an officer from Mogok Myoma Police Station said they were still trying to confirm the news and the case was still under investigation.
