Returning displaced residents in Tedim, Tonzang and Falam townships in Chin State have received food supplies and construction materials as part of ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts.

According to official information, the assistance included 1,000 sacks of rice, 6,160 visses of cooking oil, 400 bags of cement, 6,756 roofing sheets, 20 boxes of roofing nails, and 600 relief supply kits for returnees who had previously been displaced from their homes.

On July 23, Deputy Minister for Construction U Myo Myint, accompanied by Chin State Government Minister for Municipal Affairs and members of the state's rehabilitation and reconstruction committees, inspected road maintenance works in Falam Township. The delegation also visited the Nursing Training School and Basic Education High School No. 3.

The team later inspected road repair operations along the Kalay–Falam–Hakha Road, including stone filling at a subsided section between mileposts 78/7 and 79/2 and the removal of landslide debris between mileposts 82/0 and 82/3 caused by heavy rains.

During the inspection, the deputy minister instructed officials to prioritize repairs and maintenance of roads and bridges damaged by terrorist incidents to ensure safe and convenient transportation for the public. He also stressed the importance of preventing water accumulation on roads during the rainy season and called for advance preparations and coordinated efforts to quickly respond to landslides and keep mountain roads open.

Then, the Deputy Minister and his team visited the Falam Health and Human Resources Department, Nursing Training School, and inspected the cleaning activities in and around the school. The Deputy Minister instructed the officials to store salvaged materials such as tin, wood, iron, iron doors, window frames, frames, clean water, and electrical appliances from the buildings damaged by the violence, and to repair the buildings that need to be repaired.

Then, the Deputy Minister and his team visited Falam Basic Education High School No. (3), where the Deputy Minister emphasized the need to keep the school environment and inside the school clean and beautiful, to repair the classrooms damaged by the violence as soon as possible, and to reopen the high school.

So far, (288) basic education schools have been opened in Tedim, Tonzan, and Falam towns, with (1,251) teachers and students. (21758) students are being educated and (529) education (management) staff are carrying out departmental duties. State-sponsored school textbooks, blank books, school uniforms, pencils and pens have also arrived.

Township public hospitals have been opened in Tedim, Tonzan, and Falam towns, and (285) doctors and health workers have treated (14259) patients. State-sponsored laboratory equipment, medical supplies, and medicines have also arrived.
