The National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) formed by the State Administration Council has held a meeting with officials from MNDAA, TNLA and AA to resolve the ongoing conflict through political means with China’s assistance.

“Officials from our NSPNC held discussions with officials from the MNDAA, TNLA and AA to find a political solution with the help of the People's Republic of China. Depending on this discussion, we would like to say that there will be further talks at the end of this month," said Major General Zaw Min Tun, spokesman for the SAC.
