Night temperature may decrease in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States: DMH

Night temperature may decrease in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States in the next two days according to the observation made by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH).

Due to the presence of moderate cloud in north of Bay of Bengal, and the presence of moderate to heavy clouds in Andaman Sea and the rest of Bay of Bengal, there will be few cloud in Sagain Region, Kachin State and Chin State till the morning of November 2. Rain or thundershower will be scattered in Mandalay, and Magway Regions, northern Shan State, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80 percent.

Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

Likelihood of slightly decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan and Chin States.

Night temperatures were (2°C) lower than November average temperatures in Chin State, (2°C) above in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and Mandalay Region and eastern Shan State, and (3°C) above November average temperatures in southern Shan State and Kayah State  and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (11°C) in Tongzan, and Tiddim and (12°C) in Mongyang.

The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.26) inches in Hinthada, 1.02 inches in Lewi, 0.98 inches in Nay Pyi Taw ( Ottara Thiri Township), 0.95 inches in Heho, 0.71 inches in Thandwe, and 0.47 inches in Pyin Oo Lwin and Myanaung.
