Myanmar found 2,692 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on February 17 bringing total number of patients to 556,256, according to an announcement from Ministry of Health (MOH).

A total of 31,824 samples are tested between 8 pm of February 16 and 8 pm of February 17 and found 2,692 patients. One more people died from the virus bringing total number of patients to 19,319, according to a report from the MOH.

A total of 6,806,789 samples are tested till February 17 and 712 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing total number to 520,804, it said.
