Host Myanmar and Australian U-19 women teams are qualified for AFC U-19 Women’s Championship, sources said.

Myanmar beat Nepal team 2-1 and Australia thrashed Uzbekistan 4-1 in Group A respectively.

The host team made some changes to its squad faced with Australia to face Nepal. It fielded its strong squad. Nepal team was awarded a penalty and Captain Yu Ya Tun was sent off. Nepali forward Manisha Raut scored for the penalty spot in 35th minutes. The host team applied the pressure on the away team after the break. Striker San San Thaw equalized with a header in 47th minutes. May Phoo Ko sealed the win for Myanmar in 65th minutes.

Australian team finished the top in the group after they defeated Uzbekistan 4-1. Kyra Cooney-Cross opened the scoring for Australia against Uzbekistan in 40 minutes at the end of a frenetic first half in which the Uzbek women held on despite being bombarded by the Australia. Princess Ibini made it 2-0 to Australia in 48th minutes in second half before Mary Fowler added a third in 51st minutes. Shahnoza Kurbonova scored a consolation goal for Uzbekistan in 77th minutes before Chelsea Blissett scored in 87th minutes to make it 4-1.
