The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) issued a statement on March 6, expressing deep concern over the ongoing violence in the Middle East and urging a reduction in violence and peaceful negotiation to find a solution.
The statement said that Myanmar is deeply concerned about the recent violence in the Middle East.
It said it believes that only constructive dialogue and diplomatic efforts based on the five principles of peaceful coexistence can resolve the conflict. The countries involved in the conflicts and violence in the Middle East need to respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and urge the reduction of violence and peaceful negotiation to find a solution.
