A contestant from the Miss Tourism World 2018 pageant has tragically died in the collapse of the Sky Villa condominium. The deceased is Miss Tourism Myanmar 2018, who represented Myanmar at the Miss Tourism World 2018 competition.
Her body was discovered during the ongoing rescue operation at the collapsed condo in Mandalay on April 2. The Sky Villa building fell during the earthquake that struck on March 28, 2025. The Miss Tourism Myanmar Organization confirmed the tragic loss in a statement, stating that the beauty queen's body was recovered and identified by rescue teams on April 2.
