Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) allowed three businesses including auto assembling and hotel services during its meeting (20/2018), according to the Department of Investment and Company Administration.
As a Myanmar citizen investment, MIC allowed Myanmar Brilliance Auto Company in Industrial Zone 2 in Hlinethaya Township, Yangon Region; and Eden Hotels & Resorts Co Ltd in Mandalay Region to establish Conrad Bagan Resort.
As a full foreign investment, MIC approved Ocean Wave Communication Co Ltd to provide network facilities services, network services and application services across Myanmar.
Moreover, the meeting approved three investments. Myanmar I-Tex Garment Company Limited has approved to engage in CMP garment industry in Myaseinyaung Industrial Zone, Hlinethaya Township, Yangon Region; Kais Leather (Myanmar) Company Limited in CMP bag making in Ngwepinle Industrial Zone, Hlinethaya Township, Yangon Region; and Vardaan Steel & Agro Science Limited in generating and distributing electricity from firing paddy husks in Phayagalay Village-tract, Daydeye Township, Ayeyawady Region.
