In North Dagon Township, Yangon Region, an individual involved in providing overseas job opportunities was found dead by hanging, according to an official from the Wun Yan Hmu Social Assistance Association.
The incident occurred on the morning of February 17, after 9 a.m., and the deceased was a resident of Ward 43 in North Dagon Township.
"We received the news at 9:55 a.m. and went to assist. We found several passports at his place. It is clear that he was engaged in the business of finding overseas employment. He took his own life," said an official from the association.
Approximately 70 passports were found with the deceased, and it is believed that he committed suicide due to issues related to his job placement business, the official added.
