YANGON---- An explosion occurred near a traffic police outpost in front of City Mart Thamine.

The explosion injured some police forces as well as Food Panda delivery persons.

The incident was near the entrance of City Mart’s shopping center and it also was a waiting place of the delivery workers. Moreover, some traffic police men and security members are carrying out daily security measures near at environ of an incident.

Due to the blast, fences and glasses were destroyed so also some bicycles of delivery workers overturned.

“We found that the fences and glasses of traffic police outpost were destroyed and then damages were scattered around the outpost. We don’t know whether they[security force] investigated the delivery worker or not. However, the delivery workers were detained. Police and soldiers arrived at the scene after the explosion,” said a witness.
