President has appointed Kyaw Lwin, Deputy Director-General of Ministry of Office of the State Counsellor as Director-General of the Ministry of Office of the State Counsellor on probation from the date he assumes charge of his duties, according to Myanmar gazette.

Now the ministry has three director generals.

One of the DG, Zaw Htay is the DG of the Union Peace Formation and he took charge of peace matter in addition to being the spokesperson of the President Office. The other two DGs are Kyaw Lwin, DG of the Union Minister Office and Win Kyaw Aung, DG of the Department of Policy Affairs.

“There are three DG in the ministry. Director-general in Union Minister Office, Department of Union Peace Formation and Department of Policy Affairs are appointed,” said Zaw Htay.

Previously, Department of Union Peace Formation and Department of Policy Affairs is organized under the Ministry of Office of the State Counsellor.

Union Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor is Kyaw Tint Swe and deputy ministers are Khin Maung Tin and Min Lwin.
