Bulgarian coach Velizar Popov  of Myanmar U-22 men's football squad issued a 32-member list of selected players intended to play against a friendly match against Viet Nam following the practice session on June 5.

Myanmar U-22 football squad practised in the training session together with 26 players. Defender Sithu Moe Khant from Myanmar U-18 was resent to his mother club. Midfielder Nan Htike Zaw and striker Sa Aung Pyae were ruled out.

The finally-selected lineup includes key players Win Naing Tun, Myat Kaung Khant, Lwin Moe Aung, Hein Phyo Win and Hein Htet Aung.  Myanmar U-22 left for Viet Nam on June 5. Myanmar U-22 began training as of May 21.

Myanmar U-22 played against the friendly match against Pohang Steelers, a football club of South Korea in Thuwunna Stadium on May 30 and won a 3-1 in the friendly match. Myanmar U-22 was formed with the hope of participating in the 30th SEA Games. Myanmar U-22 will play a friendly match against Viet Nam in Viet Nam on June 7.
