There was a leak of aluminium sulphate in the chemistry lab of Yangon University around 6:00 pm on August, accoridng to local social aid organizations.
The leak was found in one of the containers in the laboratory.
Members of Myanmar Fire Services Department covered the tank with sand. Fire engines from Kamayut, Kyauktada and Sangyaung townships as well as a rescue vehicle from headquarters of Myanmar Fire Services Department and a fire engine with a ventilator arrived at the scene.
No one was hurt due to the leaking of Aluminium Sulphate.
Similarly, an aluminium hydroxide leak occurred in Yankin Education College’s storeroom on August 13.
