The third regular session of the third Mon State Parliament will begin on August 10 at 10 a.m., according to an announcement issued by the Mon State Parliament on July 17.
Bilin Township Constituency No. 2 lawmaker U Tin Yi said he plans to submit three proposals and raise five questions during the upcoming session.
The parliament’s first regular session of its third term was held from March 20 to April 10, while the second session took place from June 9 to 19. During the second session, eight lawmakers raised 25 questionsand submitted four proposals.
The parliament has also formed several committees, including those on legislative affairs, public accounts, ethnic affairs, finance and economic matters, and oversight of government commitments.
