A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck about 25 miles southeast of Bawlakhe town in Kayah State, according to sources.

The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) reported that the tremor occurred at 5:52 pm on March 25, about 81 miles east of the Taungoo Seismological Station, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located at latitude 19.00 degrees north and longitude 97.69 degrees east.
