The Union Election Commission (UEC) on February 3 issued Announcement No. (31/2026), releasing the list of representatives elected by party in the 2025 multi-party democratic general election.

The UEC stated that the general election, which began in phases on December 28, 2025, was held across a total of 688 constituencies. These included 263 Pyithu Hluttaw (Lower House) constituencies; 73 Amyotha Hluttaw (Upper House) constituencies under the First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) system and 26 under the Proportional Representation (PR) system; 255 Region or State Hluttaw constituencies under FPTP and 42 under PR; and 29 ethnic affairs constituencies in Region or State Hluttaws.

The announcement also noted that elected representatives for each constituency had previously been declared for the respective parliaments, and that the UEC had issued 24 additional constituency-based announcements in phases to supplement those results.
