The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that Myanmar citizens living in the United States and Saudi Arabia have cast their advance votes at polling stations opened at Myanmar embassies and consulates.
In the western United States, Myanmar nationals voted on December 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Myanmar Consulate General in Los Angeles for the 2025 multi-party democratic general election. Consul General Daw Win Le Phyu supervised the voting process, while staff assisted with voter verification and ballot procedures.
Similarly, advance voting was held at the Myanmar Embassy in Washington, D.C. on the same dates, where Myanmar citizens residing in the U.S. also cast their ballots.
Earlier, on December 2 and 3, Myanmar nationals living in Saudi Arabiavoted in advance at the Myanmar Embassy in Riyadh for the upcoming 2025 general election.
