The Smart team from Malaysia has reported a heartbreaking scene during its rescue operation in Sagaing on April 1. The team, which had been working to rescue individuals trapped in a monastery, discovered the bodies of a father and son who were tightly embraced in their final moments.

The rescue team confirmed the location of the victims at 2 pm and began their operation. Upon reaching the site, they found the father and son trapped beneath heavy debris, including brick walls and floor pieces. The father had held his son close, and the emotional scene left the rescue team deeply moved, as they carefully retrieved the bodies during their efforts.
