The fuel imported from Russia will arrive in the next few days, said Major General Zaw Min Tun, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information and leader of the information team of the State Administration Council (SAC).
Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun answered a reporter's question about when the fuel will arrive from Russia at the press conference of the State Administration Council held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on September 20.
"As for us, the fuel that will arrive from Russia, I will talk about the distribution part that I just mentioned. In terms of distribution, priority will be distributed to the public transportation. Then we have a delay in their journey regarding these fuels. The fuel tankers are on the way after coming out of Russia," Major General Zaw Min Tun said.
Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun said at a press conference held on August 17 that Myanmar will get all the fuel it needs from Russia and the two countries will continue to cooperate with each other in oil exploration and exploration.
Major General Zaw Min Tun said, “As for the arrival date, we can only answer that it will arrive in the next few days. We have not yet been able to answer exactly when it will arrive.”
The matter of purchasing fuel from Russia and distributing it domestically was finalized during a visit to Russia by the SAC’s Chairman and the final agreement was reached, said Major General Zaw Min Tun at a press conference held on August 17.
