Power outages will occur at some townships in Yangon on April 24 as there will be installation and linking of new power devices according to the statement made by the Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation.

Power outages will occur from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on April 24 as 230/33/11KV/150MVA TR Bank.5 will be linked to 33KV Bus-A, Bus-B Droppers, and installation of 33 KV Main D/S to Hlawkar main power station’s 230/33/11KV/150MVA TR Bank.1 and Bank.2 will take place.

Therefore, temporary power outages will occur in Insein, Mingalardon, Htaukkyaint, Hlegu, Indaing, Darpain, Phaung Gyi, Shwe Pyi Thar, Shwe Linban, and Hmawbi Townships. Special emphasis will be provided not to occur power outages in important places, according to the statement.
