There were 37 deaths due to Covid-19 in Myanmar for the period from March 1 to March 12 while the Positivity rate has been below 5% for three days in succession, the Ministry of Health reported.
As regards deaths due to Covid-19 in the month of March, there were 4 deaths on March 1, 3 deaths on March 2, 4 deaths on March 4, 3 deaths on March 5, 3 deaths on March 6, 2 deaths on March 7, 3 deaths on March 8, 4 deaths on March 9, 3 deaths on March 10, 2 deaths on March 11, 3 deaths on March 12, totaling 37 deaths.
As regards the positivity rate, it was 10.32% on March 1, 8.57% on March 2, 8.43% on March 3, 7.29% on March 4, 6.43% on March 5, 6.20% on March 6, 5.86% on March 7, 6.96% on March 8, 6.14% on March 9, 4.78% on March 10, 4.93% on March 11, and 4.13% on March 12.
Within the month of February when Covid fourth wave began the positivity rate on 10 February was 5.38%. It was 6.5% on February 11, 7.23% on February 12, 7.06% on February 13, 6.64% on February 14, 8.02% on February 15, 8.98% on February 16, 8.46% on February 17, 9 3% on February 18, 10.03% on February 19, 8.72% on February 20, 10 17% on February 21, 10 77% on February 22, 10.79% on February 23, 10.31% on February 24, 12.49% on February 25, 10.13% on February 26, 9 45% on February 27, and
As regards the number of deaths it was 1 death on February 14, 3 deaths on February 15, 4 deaths on February 16, 1 death on February 17, 3 deaths on February 18, 5 deaths on February 19, 4 deaths on February 20, 7 deaths on February 21, 6 deaths on February 22, 5 deaths on February 23, 4 deaths on February 24, 3 deaths on February 25, 4 deaths on February 26, 5 deaths on February 27, and 3 deaths on February 28, totaling 58 deaths.
It has been learnt that for 31 days in all between January 24 and February 13 there had been no COVID-19 related deaths.
Although the average positivity rate within the past month of January was a little over 1 percent, the positivity rate hiked to 2.20% on January 28, and 3.35% on January 31, and there had been 42 COVID-19 related deaths between January 1 and January 23.
Likewise the daily average positivity rate within December 2021 dropped significantly at 2% and below so that within the month of December there had been within 9 to 3 deaths every day, totaling 162 deaths.
According to tests conducted in the month of November, starting from the first week the Positivity rate had dropped below 5% and in the second and third weeks it had dropped significantly so that after November 18 it had dropped around 2 percent.
As regards the number deaths within the month of November it dropped to 20, and from November 1 to November 30 there had been a total of 407 deaths.
In like manner the positivity rate dropped significantly so that within the month of October the daily rate was between 50 and 20, and the total number of deaths for the entire month had been 960.
As regards the positivity rate starting from October 1 to October 23 it had dropped to below 10%, and from October 24 to the end of the month it dropped to below 5 percent.
Moreover within the month of September 2021there were about 100 Covid related deaths and towards the end of the month of September it dropped to around 50 so that the total number of deaths for the entire month had been 2436.
Within the month of September the Positivity rate between September 1 and September 30 dropped to below 10% so that the daily average had been between 8% and 9%.
