According to the information given by the Ministry of Health on February 20 a total of 3m303 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 were reported after testing of 37,436 COVID-19 lab samples on February 20.  

 Up till 8pm of February 20 from the start of the ourbreak, 6,907,503 lab samples were tested, and 565,667 cases reported.

Four more patients died of Covid-19 on February 20 bringing the total number of deaths to 19,331. Moreover, 1,230 patients were discharged from hospitals on the same day bringing the total number of patients discharged to 523,630.

Lab tests were conducted in labs of the Ministry of Health,  by means of GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council,  Regions and States,  in 1000 bedded Military Hospital 1 in Yangon, in 1000 bedded Military Hospital 2 in Nay Pyi Taw,  in 700 bedded Military Hospital 1 in PyinOoLwin,  in 100 bedded Military Hospital 9 in Lashio,  by  Tatmadaw Mobile PRC Team in Kalaymyo,  in private hospitals and labs,  in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States and by means of Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in the Public Health Departments.
