Female USDP member shot dead in Tada-U Township

MANDALAY-----A 55-year-old woman who is a member of Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) was shot dead in Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region, on the evening of December 9th, according to the neighbouring residents.

Two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on Mar Mar Aye while she was staying with her husband and daughter at her house in Daung-U village, Chaunggwa village-tract, Tada-U Township.

The neighbouring residents said that she was shot in the abdomen, breast and face and died on the spot.

Currently, USDP members are being assassinated.

The USDP announced on September 3rd that totaling 253 USDP members including USDP supporters and family members were killed within seven months starting from February 1st to end of August for being military informants. Similarly, other political parties’ members, security members, civil servants and more peoples were assassinated.
