Myanmar found 1,225 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on June 28  with 12 more deaths bringing the total number of death toll to 3309, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) on June 28 announcement.

A total of 6586 samples were tested between 8 pm of June 27 and 8 pm of June 28and found new COVID-19 patients of 1225. Twelve more people died from the virus according to the Ministry of Health and Sports. 

Total samples of 2,718,170 have been tested till June 28 evening and there are 154,385  confirmed cases with 3,309 deaths according to MOHS. Another 290 people were discharged from the hospital and the total number of people recovered from the virus reached 135,703.
