Explosions occurred in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon yesterday night and today early morning, sources said.

An explosion occurred near Thapyaykone Ward administer office located at 125th Street in the township around 3 am today, according to people lived nearby.

“The stun grenade exploded and it shook houses. A window glass from the ward administer office is shattered,” said a person lived nearby.

Similarly, three explosions occurred near Shila store in Myanma Goneyi Road in the township around 7 pm on June 1, sources said.

“The blasts went off near the store located in front of a temple and they made a loud noise. Some people are injured in the blast and security forces are deployed to investigate the incident,” said a person.

Moreover an explosion occurred near Yuzana Plaza around 10 pm on June 1.
