The National Health Laboratory (Yangon) tested 190 samples of Covid-19 in the second batch for May 17, and three cases were confirmed, the Ministry of Health and Sports reported at 7 am today.
The three new Covid-19 patients are a 46-year-old man from Taninthayi Township, Taninthayi Region, and a 22-year-old man and a 35-year-old man from Kawkareik Township, Kayin State. All of them had a travel history returning from Malaysia.
Till May 18, Myanmar has seen 187 confirmed cases, six deaths and 97 recoveries, the ministry reported.
