Myanmar Police Force issued a statement that a ward administrator in Sagaing Region was stabbed to death and a village administrator in Yesagyo Township was shot and wounded.

U Soe Tint, a ward administrator from Yaykyi ward in Sagaing Region while in his home, was taken by 10 PDF around 10:30 am on March 28 and stabbed to death near Tharzin villge. 

Similarly, U Chit Aye, a village administrator from Paykone village, Yesagyo Township, Magway Region was shot by 5 PDF while he was at his home on 10:45 am on March 28. He got gunshot wounds and admitted to military hospital according to the statement.

Security forces have been investigating those involved in the above incidents to take action in accordance with the law.
