Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo has been appointed as Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1), while Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Tun Ohn has become Union Minister for Commerce.

U Aung Naing Oo became Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1) after the State Administration Council (SAC) issued Order No.87/2023 on September 25 as per Section 419 of the Constitution.

Before that, Lieutenant General Soe Htut was Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1).

In Order No.88/2023 issued on September 25 also, U Tun Ohn was appointed as Union Minister for Commerce.

The orders were signed by SAC Secretary Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe.
