Two men riding on a motorcycle threw a bomb inside a lottery shop in front of Aung Thaw Mu Pagoda in Mandalay at around 5:00 pm on July 21 injuring its owner, sources said

It is reported that two men arrived on a motorcycle and threw a bomb into a shop selling Monk’s utensils and lottery tickets while U Pe Aung was selling lottery tickets at his lottery shop in front of Aung Thaw Mu Pagoda between 63rd Street, 28th and 29th streets in Pyigyi Myatman Ward, Chanaythazan Township.

They arrived at the shop, and while one of them was talking about selling lottery tickets, the other one detonated the grenade and threw it through the opening of the lottery counter into the shop, causing the bomb to explode inside the shop.

As a result of the bomb blast, shop owner U Pe Aung's right leg and instep were injured. The glass inside the lottery shop and the glass of the lottery sales counter was shattered.
