Town hall, rural healthcare centers attacked with drop bombs in Kayin’s Kyaikdon town

Haungthayaw hall and rural healthcare centers in Kyaikdon town of Kyainseikkyi Township, Kayin State, were attacked with drop bombs on the morning of July 7, according to local sources.

Around 11am of July 7, flying drones dropped two bombs into Kyaikdon.  A bomb fell onto the Haungthayaw hall whose roofs, ceilings and windshields were damaged, said a local resident.

The local also reported that another bomb dropped on the rural healthcare center destroying its roofs and ceilings.

Although the buildings were damaged during the drop bomb attacks, on one was hurt.

Likewise, a rural healthcare center in Kyaikdon was attacked with drop bombs on May 27. The building was destroyed and medicines, medical equipment and documents related to the healthcare center were burned down.

On May 23, an armed group torched the Ahzin police station in Ahzin village Kyaikdon, Kyainseikkyi Township, Kayin State, and the staff-quarters and police building were destroyed, according to  local sources.
