Three new Covid-19 patients with travel history reported, cases up to 191

The National Health Laboratory (Yangon) tested 239 samples of Covid-19 in the second batch for May 18, and three cases were confirmed, the Ministry of Health and Sports reported at 7 am today.

The three new Covid-19 patients are a 50-year-old man from Taungdwingyi Township, Magway Region, a 25-year-old man from Taungup Township, Rakhine State, and a 20-year-old man from Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region. All of them had a travel history returning from Malaysia.

So far, Myanmar has seen 191 confirmed cases, six deaths and 101 recoveries, the ministry reported.
