Following a vote, U Nanda Kyaw Swa was elected as the session chair with the support of the majority of members.
Afterward, the chair will take an oath and sign the oath document, deliver opening remarks, and formally announce the commencement and validity of the Pyithu Hluttaw session. Members of parliament will also take their oaths and sign the oath documents.
Subsequently, the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw will be carried out. After their election, both officials will take the oath before the session chair and sign the oath documents. The chair will then officially hand over the responsibilities of presiding over the Pyithu Hluttaw to the newly elected Speaker.
