State Administration Council (SAC) issued a statement that the news concerning shortage of food and medicine in Loikaw prison is untrue.

Some online news media wrote that food and medicine are nearly out of stock in Lokiaw prison. SAC made the clarification concerning the news.

It said, there is sufficient food and medicine at the prison and the health care is fully provided to prisoners, according to an official from the Correctional Department.
