The Information Team of the State Administration Council announced yesterday night that singer Li Li Naing Kyaw who was sustained a serious bullet wound had received medical treatment at the Military Hospital.

The announcement also reported that singer/actor Li Li Naing Kyaw living in Yan Aung Street, Ward-2, Yankin Township,Yangon Region, was shot in front of her house, just after arriving back from outside in a car at about 7 pm on May 30 by an unidentified man.

As she sustained a serious bullet wound, she was receiving medical treatment at Military hospital in Mingaladon Township, according to the announcement.

Li Li Naing Kyaw is known for a military supporter and nationalist activist.

She has been engaging in the work for conducting courses on cultural ethics for children and providing assistance for the cyclone Mocha victims.

On May 26 also, Tint Lwin known for his nationalistic activities was shot and killed at a tea shop in Dagon Myothit (North) Township while he was eating fried rice.

From February 1, 2021 till January 25, 2023, a total of 5,443 people including civil servants, community administrators, monks and civilians were killed and 4,577 others injured due to acts of terrorism, said the chairman of the State Administration Council at the meeting (1/2023) of the National Defence and Security Council held on January 31 this year.
