SAC vice chair meets with the Air Chiefs of the five ASEAN member countries to discuss the preparations for the census and elections

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Vice-Senior General Soe Win met with the ASEAN Air Chiefs who attended the 20th AACC, the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference hosted by Myanmar, on September 14 at the Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw.

In that meeting, the SAC Vice Chairman first outlined five-point road map and nine directives objectives to successfully implement two political objectives and two national goals for comprehensive national development, the conditions of the status of the pilot census of the population and household contents and the preparations for the census of the population and household contents to be conducted every ten years, preparations being made for the successful holding of a free and fair multi-party democratic general election and matters related to the cooperation of the ASEAN Armed Forces. He discussed the conditions of the successful completion of the 20th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference.

After that, the Chiefs of Air Force of ASEAN introduced each country individually and visited important places in Myanmar. It is reported that the hospitality and the success of the meeting were discussed and presented.

The meeting was attended by Deputy SAC Vice Chairman, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, Chief of Staff (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint, Chief of Staff (Air) Lieutenant General Zaw Win Myint and officials attended, and the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force Brig-Gen (u) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif Bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the Royal Cambodian Air Force General Soeung Samnang, Chief of Air Force Brig-Gen Khamlek Sengph Achanh of Laos, Air Chief Marshal Alongkorn Vannarot of the Royal Thai Air Force and Commander of the Air Defence of Viet Nam Lt-Gen Nguyen Van Hien and officials attended.

Similarly, the delegation led by the Air Force Chiefs visited the Memorial to Fallen Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw), the Butterfly Museum in PyinOoLwin National Kandawgyi Garden and the View Resort in PyinOoLwin.
