Peace Talk -2025 kicks off in Nay Pyi Taw

The Peace Talk- 2025 conference officially commenced this morning (March 24) at MICC-2 in Nay Pyi Taw.

The three-day event, running from March 24 to March 26, brings together officials from various sectors to engage in discussions. 

The conference aims to foster greater involvement from experts, intellectuals, and influential figures in the peace process, with the goal of reducing internal conflicts and formulating short- and long-term plans for political and economic progress.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacekeeping Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae delivered the inaugural speech, followed by NSPNC Secretary Lt. Gen Min Naing, who outlined the objectives and agenda of the conference. Subsequently, representatives from participating organizations also gave remarks.

Attendees include members of the NSPNC, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Border Affairs, senior military officers and representatives from political parties and ethnic armed group.
