The opening Ceremony of Maha Thingyan Central pavilion was held at the stage of Mya Sandi park in ward-4, Myawaddy in Kayin State on April 13 evening.

Departmental Heads opened the ceremony and Chairman of Myawaddy District Administrative Council U Soe Tint delivered an opening speech.

Entertainment groups entertained those present with Thingyan songs and dances.

Altogether 200 people including officials from district level, township level, ward administrators, entertainment troupes and guests attended the opening ceremony.
